A large part of this book was drawn while livestreaming on Twitch. The interaction with family, friends, and strangers via chat, as well as their song suggestions, helped inspire and motivate the illustrations. This work might be considered one rendition in a series of poorly named “stress doodles,” in which I draw intuitively with ink, to overcome the stresses of second-guessing and insecurities about skill.
